ALB-200 is the carrier-class Point-to-Point solution designed by Albentia Systems to provide IP connectivity with high Ethernet throughput in long distance links. ALB-200 includes a powerful layer-2 traffic-shaper which allows traffic differentiation and prioritization outperforming other existing IP-based traffic shaping techniques. This built-in traffic-shaper provides highly efficient QoS mechanisms to enable critical services like broadcast-quality real-time video transmission and VoIP communication.
These systems provide detailed control on the physical and MAC layer parameters to achieve the highest performance with total control on throughput, QoS and latency.
ALB-200 is based on a high quality hardware platform specifically designed for professional applications. This robust platform is combined with the highest functionality based on the use of OFDM modulation and a highly efficient frame-based MAC layer to provide best-in-class performance for carrier-grade applications
ALB-200 is available for the license-exempt 5.4 and 5.8 GHz bands (ALB-256 and ALB-258) and for may other frequencies ranging from 2 to 6 GHz.
